But as gaming desktops have become increasingly bombastic and over-the-top, most mobile machines are focusing on the “laptop” side of things over the “gaming” part. So what would it look like if you built a gaming laptop in 2019, one that could not only compete with its desktop counterparts but replace them entirely? Well, it’d probably look like Alienware’s new Area-51m, unveiled at CES 2019 as the “world’s most powerful gaming laptop.”
