The fact Huawei has its own Android replacement in the works is certainly no secret. In fact, rumor has it the operating system could be ready for launch as early as this fall. And thanks to recent trademark filings, we now know what it could be called.
As spotted by Android Headlines, Huawei filed multiple trademarks with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) on May 24th, less than one week after Google stopped working with the Chinese giant. Of course, this could be purely a coincidence, but it may also mean the company is gearing up for the release of its own operating system.
