The upcoming 2016 Nexus handsets are dubbed Marlin and Sailfish on the Google side, and M1 or S1 on the HTC side, as that’s the manufacturer which will be making them this year. While we already have had numerous rumors about the screen sizes, processing power and camera units, a leaked S1 build.prop file has arrived to give at least some tangential evidence on the previous speculations.
The Marlin M1 gear is expected to sport a 5.5-inch screen with a 1440 x 2560 resolution, a Snapdragon 820 chipset under the hood, 4 GB of RAM, and a 12MP/8MP camera combo – all the makings of a decent 2016 flagship.
