Google Maps will finally show drivers real-time accident reports and speed traps

It’s unclear when or if the features will roll out to all Google Maps users, however.

Mail Online has reached out to Google for comment.

Reports of Google Maps testing the features come as several Reddit users began noticing a report button in the app last week.

When users click on the report button, it’ll give them the option to ‘add a report’ for a collision or a speed trap – hotspots where police are believed to be pulling over drivers in large numbers.
