Huawei’s pre-MWC briefing on 5G focused on its new Balong 5000 5G modem and the company’s base station hardware. However, a curious bit of info was snuck in towards the end of the hour-long presentation – Huawei is bringing a 5G phone to the MWC.
And not just any 5G smartphone, but a foldable 5G smartphone. That would be a world’s first, unless Samsung gets there first (the foldable Galaxy is rumored to have 5G connectivity, but that hasn’t been officially confirmed).
