Hadoop, an Apache open source software framework for storing and crunching big data sets across clusters of machines, is hitting the big time.Transparency Market Research forecasted in March 2016 that the Hadoop market could grow from $4 billion USD (2014 figure) to $37.8 billion USD by 2023.
Growth on that scale precipitates the need for many more able-bodied IT pros to develop, manage and administer all of those Hadoop implementations.
