TMF Group’s recent collaboration with Orange Business marks a major step in deploying a centralized managed hybrid cloud solution across several global locations, including Brazil, Costa Rica, France, and Singapore. This partnership aims to enhance performance and provide greater flexibility and collaboration capabilities, aligning with the digital business needs of TMF Group, a multinational provider of administrative services.
The driving force behind this initiative was TMF Group’s requirement for a secure, scalable, and versatile digital solution to streamline efficiencies and support its global operations. Fundamental to their digital transformation strategy was the creation of a “one cloud” solution designed to seamlessly integrate with their existing Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments. Given its longstanding relationship with TMF Group, Orange Business was chosen to develop this hybrid cloud solution.
Orange Business has implemented a managed Azure Stack HCI hybrid cloud service, in collaboration with Dell Technologies and Microsoft. This is one of the largest deployments of its type to date, linking TMF Group’s on-premises systems with Azure to provide comprehensive cloud-based services, monitoring, and management. This setup supports demanding workloads, including those at the edge, thereby addressing both data center needs and emerging requirements of branch offices and edge locations.
Further bolstering the solution’s effectiveness, Orange Cyberdefense has contributed advanced security capabilities. With native integration with Azure services, this solution allows TMF Group to manage resources, back up data, and monitor performance from a centralized portal. This unified management approach simplifies overseeing and optimizing the hybrid cloud environment, boosting operational efficiency.
Sajith Chakkingal, head of Global Technology Services at TMF Group, highlighted that this digital strategy simplifies operations and transforms capabilities, meeting the company’s need for a flexible, reliable, globally distributed, and cost-effective solution. In addition, Usman Javaid, chief products and marketing officer at Orange Business, noted that their unique hybrid solution effectively combines on-premises, edge, and cloud environments. This blend optimizes integration, performance, and cost-efficiency while also supporting navigation through complex local and global regulations.
In conclusion, the deployment of a centralized hybrid cloud solution with Orange Business marks a significant milestone in TMF Group’s digital transformation journey. Its scale and the effective integration of on-premises and cloud resources ensure comprehensive management and robust security across their global operations. This deployment was expected to boost operational efficiency and provide valuable insights to TMF Group and its clients, aiding their global administrative services through cutting-edge technology.
