AT&T plans to launch 5G mobile service in Charlotte, Raleigh, and Oklahoma City before the end of the year, the company announced Friday.
The locations are part of a 12-city roll out the carrier has committed to for 2018. Dallas, Atlanta, and Waco were previously announced as roll-out areas for the 5G service.
So far, at least, AT&T is avoiding dense population zones like New York, LA, and San Francisco.
