Microsoft’s Next Lock Screen for Android is updated to improve notifications, reduce memory use

Microsoft updated its Next Lock Screen for Android app today, offering a changelist with four new items ranging from a couple of fixes to a reduction in the amount of memory used by the app on low-end handsets. The app help protects your phone from unwanted intruders and makes you more productive. A smart lock setting automatically unlocks your handset at certain locations. You can also use a pattern lock or a PIN number.

Not only can you text or call your favorite contacts directly from the Lock Screen, you will be able to see certain notifications such as missed calls and text messages from Gmail, WhatsApp and Facebook.
