Google Pixel fans, mark your calendars and start setting aside cash now.
On Wednesday, Google sent out invites to the media for its next Made By Google event, which is set for 10 a.m. ET on Oct. 4 in New York City. The invite isn’t especially specific, but it does promise to “introduce the latest additions to our Pixel portfolio of devices.” In other words, this is where we’ll hear about the Pixel 8 for the first time, at least in an official capacity.
