It feels like 2016 is destined to go down in history as the year of the year of the dual-camera smartphone, and earlier this year Huawei’s Honor brand gave us a prime example of this trend, with the introduction of the 5.7-inch Honor V8 and its dual 12MP shooters. That’s well and good, but such phablet-sized handsets aren’t necessarily for everyone. Luckily for those shoppers, now we’re hearing about another Honor model that appears to be in the pipeline, as a leak outs a possible Honor 8.
While the Honor 8 is rumored to keep that same dual-12MP-rear-camera arrangement as its Honor V8 big brother, the Honor 8 would dial its screen size back to just 5.2 inches – the same size as last year’s Honor 7.
