Smartphone manufacturers are always racing for “world’s first” titles, as customers are quite sensible when it comes to these things. Last week, ZTE’s President for Business Ni Fei teased the upcoming reveal of his company’s new 5G smartphone, the ZTE Axon 20 5G.
What’s unique about the ZTE Axon 20 5G is that it will be the world’s first smartphone to feature an under-display camera, at least that’s what Ni Fei claims. Today, we learned that the new phone will be officially introduced on September 1 (via PlayfulDroid), although it’s hard to believe that ZTE will be able to put it on the market the same month.
