Smartphone batteries are getting better, but they still leave a lot to be desired, with most smartphones lasting a day and a half, maybe two.
Charging tech, however, is improving fast. As noticed by The Next Web Tuesday, Xiaomi has demoed a 100W charger that can fully charge a smartphone with a hefty, 4,000mAh battery in just 17 minutes.
Xiaomi chairman Bin Lin shared a video of the new charger doing its thing on Chinese social media site Weibo.
