Twitter is once again revamping its mobile app as it tries to simplify the service and attract new users. While no extra functions are being added, features such as Moments, Search, Trending Tweets, and Live video are all being moved under one new tab, Explore.
The Explore tab is rolling out today on Twitter for iOS, and will arrive on Twitter for Android in the coming weeks. It replaces the Moments tab – the section is being bundled inside Explore – and the update will see the current magnifying glass search icon disappear. Twitter told TechCrunch that Explore would eventually come to the web version, too, but that’s not a priority for the company.
