The stock Android-running Xiaomi Mi A3 is official, but it’s not what we were hoping for – it’s based on the Mi CC9e with no upgrades.
This means the Android One phone has a 6.1” OLED screen with 720 x 1,560px resolution, quite a downgrade from the 1080p screens of the Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite.
Wait till you hear the price – it starts at €250. The Snapdragon 665 chipset that powers this phone is not a huge upgrade over the S660 in last year’s model. That’s for 64GB storage, you can double it to 128GB for €30 more.
